What is the difference between Ultherapy and other cosmetic injectables?
Currently, there are several types of injectables and fillers for face lifting on the market, including hyaluronic acid injections, Botox and PLLA . Although results may be very noticeable, there are also risks that come with these treatments as they are invasive. Unlike injectables, Ultherapy is non-invasive and uses MFU instead to stimulate collagen production under the skin.
Is Ultherapy Safe?
Ultherapy is completely safe and reliable as it is non-invasive, non surgical, does not require medication or injections and most importantly, FDA Cleared.
What does the treatment feel like?
Our therapist will apply topical anaesthetics on the treated areas to minimise the discomfort caused by the treatment. There may be sensations of pulses as ultrasound energy is delivered and slight soreness when treating areas near the bones, but it will not be unbearable or lasting.
Who is suitable for Ultherapy?
Anyone who is experiencing the loss of collagen and sagging in the face is suitable for the Ultherapy treatment. Typically, collagen loss starts when you hit your thirties, but as skin ageing can be affected by many factors, age is not the only factor to be considered.
When will I see results after treatment?
Ultherapy's MFU technology can penetrate 4.5 mm skin deep, reaching the SMAS layer, creating an instant lifting effect. Results will be the most apparent after 3 months as collagen works to lift and support the face contour. It is particularly suitable for women who are looking for a time-effective method, as results from one session can last up to 1 year.
